Terms of use
These terms apply when you use the Ogami apps, ogami.app or Ogami Studio (dash.ogami.app). By using Ogami you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use Ogami.
Using Ogami
The apps need an account: sign in with Apple, Google or a code sent to your email. You can open a pack from a link on ogami.app without an account. You must be at least 13, or older if your country requires it. Keep your sign-in safe; you are responsible for what is done from your account.
Packs and the free pack timer
- Ogami is free. Packs come from the free pack timer in the app and from links and codes that creators share. You can’t buy packs.
- The timer gives your account a free pack every 12 hours, and holds up to 2 packs at a time. We may change how often packs come, or how many it holds.
- Which cards are in a pack is random. Each set shows its odds (Odds). A set can end or sell out, and then it gives no more packs.
- Each card you get has a serial number (“Copy #12”): its place among copies of that card, in the order they were given out.
Cards and trading
- You can trade cards for cards with other Ogami accounts: make an offer, share its link or post it to the board. Offers end after 7 days. An accepted trade moves the cards at once and can’t be undone.
- Cards have no cash value. They aren’t money or property, can’t be exchanged for money, and we don’t buy them back. You get a personal right to use your cards in Ogami, which ends with your account or when a card’s set is taken down.
- Don’t sell, buy or rent cards or accounts for money or anything else outside Ogami, and don’t offer to. We can close accounts that do.
- If a set is taken down, its cards leave every collection and open offers with them are cancelled.
Creators and Ogami Studio
Anyone signed in can claim a creator profile in Ogami Studio and build sets. A profile can have several members; its owners are responsible for what it publishes. Don’t use a handle or name that pretends to be someone else.
We review every set before it goes live. We can approve it, ask for changes or decline it, for any reason including these terms. Once live, a set can’t be edited; it can be ended.
Creator content and your rights
By uploading or publishing anything in Ogami Studio (photos, artwork, fonts, card text), you confirm that you own it or have permission to use it this way, including permission from any recognizable person in your photos, and that it doesn’t break these terms.
Your content stays yours. You give us permission to store it, process it (for example resizing photos and rendering card faces) and show it to the people who use Ogami, worldwide and free of charge, only to run Ogami. Cards people already got from your set stay in their collections after the set ends, so this permission lasts as long as the set or its cards are in Ogami. It ends when the set is taken down, except for copies we must keep by law.
If someone uses your work without permission, report the set (Report this set, “It uses my work without permission”) and write to support@ogami.app so we can reach you.
What you must not do
- Publish or share anything illegal.
- Harassment, threats or hate.
- Sexual content involving minors. We report it to the authorities.
- Sexual or graphic violent content.
- Photos, artwork, fonts or text you don’t have the right to use.
- Photos of people who haven’t agreed to be in them, in a way that could hurt them.
- Pretending to be someone else, or misleading people about a set’s odds or contents.
- Cheating: several accounts or installations to get more packs, or tricking people in trades.
- Spam, or attempts to break, overload or scrape the service.
Moderation and takedown
Anyone can report a set: in the app from the set’s page in your collection or from a pack link (Report this set), and on ogami.app from the pack link or set page. We review reports and can take down a set that breaks these terms or someone’s rights, at any time and without notice. A set taken down disappears for everyone: its links stop working and its cards leave every collection.
No warranty
We provide Ogami as it is. We try to keep it running and your data safe, but we can’t promise it will always work or never lose data. Keep your own copies of work that matters to you. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, or for content other people publish.
Ending
You can stop using Ogami and delete your account in the app at any time (how). If you are the last owner of a creator profile, deleting your account closes it and takes down its sets. We can suspend or close accounts, and close creator profiles, that break these terms.
Changes
We may update these terms. We update the date at the top, and for important changes we tell you in the app. Using Ogami after a change means you accept the new terms.
